WALTER WAS FOUND!

But it wasn't the team of Where's Walter?, but the Insta-Gators.  Way to Johnny JR. on this great catch on Saturday,  August 4th. (pictured above 19incher).  They also boated a 25.5 inch northern.  A little cold front brought some clouds, a little rain, and the fishing was okay from what the teams reported.  The Fishing Fanatics found some bass, and rumor has it, one of the biggest bass came from under a bridge!  (At least that is what one of the kids told me when he was fishing with me the other night!)  The Big Belly Bass made it out and finally Coach Steve was able to fish with one of his own.  He has been great at getting the neighborhood out on the lake.  Team Orono ditched Lake Minnetonka for a Northwest Ontario outing up on Rowan Lake with Neislen's Fly-In...hoping they have some luck up there.  Tuesday night was the night of the carp....the Crushers got spooled at the dock by a monster, but the Funny Sunnies could not get them to eat there temptations.  Plenty of brusiers where spotted in the chum line.  Where's Walter? ended up making it out and again brought a good boatful of panfish slayers!  We had a new team, Dances With Fishes, show up and fish.  They did a great job of finding some bass, but wouldn't give up there secrets.
  • The forcast is looking great for Saturday and hope to see as many of you as possible out on the water.
  • Make sure to check out the scoring and if you did get out and fish to either email me or enter your score online!
  • Carp Fishing...if you are interested let me know, we would be willing to give it another shot.
