Kayakers, Swimmers, and Fish!

Perfect weather greeted the fishing teams on Saturday morning as did a host of kayakers and swimmers.  The kids managed to ignore the happenings on the lake and stayed focused on putting fish in the boat.  All the teams did just that.  The Insta-Gators put a beautiful 16 inch smallie in the boat, the Funny Sunnies forgot about their name and were rewarded with an 18 inch largemouth.  Wheres Walter? showed up looking for the elusive walleye, but found some hungry panfish and a nice northern.  Team Orono crammed their boat and got some nice largemouths but seemed to have more fun catching sunnies on the dock during the award ceremonies.  Two new teams participated:  the Zungerdaddy's and the Diamond Point Anglers.  Each team had some action and earned some points.  Thank you to all of the teams and coaches who have brought almost 50 kids out fishing in just four weeks.  Keep spreading the word as there is no limit to the number of teams and kids we get out on the water.  Below are some shots from the morning:
