The Big Belly Bass, Fishing Fanatics, Where's Walter?, Funny Sunnies, The Crushers, and the Insta-Gators all made it out fishing on Tuesday night. The sunny bite is on. They are everywhere and teams capitalized on the bite to earn their 50 point maximum. Conditions seemed favorable as reports were coming in from pre-fishing that the bass bite was pretty solid, but something must have changed because the teams that targeted them only ended up catching a few. Big fish for the night was a 15 inch bass, which was a surprise to all teams with no northerns being caught. That is why fishing is so great, you never know what is going to happen when it is league night. It can change fast. Thanks to everybody who is showing up to fish so far. It was also great to see some "non-fishing" boats show up with a boat load of kids and fishing rods in hand. There are plenty of areas to "drift" and drop a line in on Minnetonka. Looking forward to Saturday and the weather forecast looks very promising.
