Thunder and lightning greeted most of the teams as they headed out on Saturday morning. A few teams waited out the storms and rain to get some fishing in. Team Orono, Maximus Fishes, and Levi Bassmaster Roach all made their first showing and were rewarded with some nice bass and northerns. The Insta-Gators made it out as well getting some panfish, way to go. But they could not fend off the seasoned Fishing Fanatics squad, which set a record with an individual 60 point plus tally. After some discussion with the coaches, we agreed to implement a maximum number of panfish points, which is now 50 per angler, per event.
