CARP E DIEM LAKE MINNETONKA STYLE

car·pe di·em/ˌkärpā ˈdēˌem/

Exclamation:
Used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future.

The Insta-Gators did it again, notching history in the Lake Minnetonka Youth Fishing League by bringing in a beautiful 28 inch carp to the docks.  This monster fell for a french fry.  Take note Funny Sunnies and Crushers, the carp on Minnetonka are not on a diet, so leave the corn at home!  Where's Walter? cleaned up on the panfish again.  The Funny Sunnies had a good morning catching bass and had a close encounter with a muskie!  That is the only specie that has yet to hit the net, but with the way they are moving out there it won't be long.  The fish pictured below actually ate TJ's bass jig, snapped him off with one head shake, then came and attacked my top water bait.  (yes coaches are aloud to fish, we just don't get points!)  Still pretty exciting for the boat and there were "Big Musky Smiles"!  If any other teams were out fishing make sure to enter your scores online at www.fishtonka.com.
